Recorded remotely between 2020 and 2021, 'Fire Doesn't Grow On Trees' is the nineteenth studio album from The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The ever-industrious Anton Newcombe is joined by Ricky Maymi (guitars), Ryan Carlson Van Kriedt (keyboards), Hakon Adalsteinsson (guitar), Hallberg Dadi Hallbergsson (bass) and Uri Rennert (drums). Lead single 'The Real' flags up what to expect - another heavily dosed cosmic journey into psychedelia and space rock that wrings originality from well-worn influences.
