Galactic Cowboys has always been a musical enigma. Transcending categories and creating their own musical genre, they were recognized by the industry as one of the most extraordinary bands in the world, cutting out a string of highly acclaimed albums throughout the 1990s and touring with both Anthrax and Dream Theater. Come back album ‘Long Way back to the Moon’ bursts with the freshness of the first GC album — an explosion of energy and creativity that only results from 18 years of pent-up musical passion and inspiration. It’s a long way from the Cowboys’ first journey, and on this outing, their timing couldn’t be more perfect.
