The Vaselines - The Way Of The Vaselines - A Complete History (2xLP, Comp, RE)

Sello: Sub Pop

Idolised by Kurt Cobain and one of the finest (yet most underappreciated) bands to have emerged from Glasgow's burgeoning indie scene in the Eighties, The Vaselines utterly encapsulate that 'C86' sound despite not actually appearing on that legendary cassette. 'The Way Of The Vaselines' was a 1992 compilation gathering up their original output - their 1989 debut 'Dum-Dum' plus their two EPs 'Son Of A Gun' (1987) and 'Dying For It' (1988).
