Los Partisans formed in South Wales in 1978. Influenced mainly by the Sex Pistols, Clash and the Ramones, they started by playing songs by those bands and writing their first original songs. In September 1981 they released their first 7" on the No Future Records label, a smash hit that led them to tour with Blitz, Peter and the Test Tube Babies and The Ejected. A year later, in May 1982, a second 7" was released and already in 1983 came their debut LP, the one we are looking at. A fresh album, a seminal piece within the English punk of the time that only increases their fame over time.
