The Nomads - Live In Madrid. Live At Gruta 77. (DVD-V, D/Sided, NTSC, PAL)

Label: Munster Records

Most bands rarely get better with age, but right now, and right here, the Nomads hit you with the force of a ton of bricks. Like the Dictators or the Fleshtones, the Nomads just keep getting better and better. The Nomads have never stopped. They don't play very often, but when they do, you know it's not something that will leave you indifferent. Bits of rockabilly, punk, swamp, blues, and garage all fried together in a pan and drenched in that special Scandinavian sauce. No frills, just the supreme bite of their guitars and the rock-solid rhythm section you could imagine. No loops, no tapes, everything happens right in front of you, LIVE. The extras include Discography, Photos, Music Videos, and a selection of four other concerts: La Dolce Vita - Lausanne '85, Crocodile Café - Seattle '94, Kåren - Gothenburg '99, and Garageshock - Bellingham '99.
