Mr. No - 94/20 (LP, Album)

Label: Bang! Records

It's no secret that SEÑOR NO is one of Bang!'s favorite bands of all time. And the list of reasons why is endless... But now they've gone further than ever before! Three guitars over a pounding, stomping rhythm section that makes your floor vibrate. Each guitar heading in a different direction, with no limits!!! All of it directed by Xabi Garre, Master & Commander of SEÑOR NO since 1994. And that's where the title comes from. "94/20" is their latest recording, based on obscure and rare old tracks, all re-recorded to create a rock-solid new album that takes us to the sonic assault of BORED!, with HOSS's unique touch and the foundational roots of MOTÖRHEAD and MC5. And for those unlucky enough not to understand the lyrics, they're pure Bukowski-style street poetry, devoted to lost women and low lives steeped in smoke, booze, and drugs... In our opinion, SEÑOR NO is the ultimate Basque rock band. No bullshit. Get ready for a fucking bulldozer barreling over you at 100 miles per hour. They're touring around Europe now and planning another Australian tour soon! If they play in or near your town... Mates, do yourselves a favor: plan ahead, leave the kids with Grandma if you're a senior rocker, do your homework early if you're a young rocker, or simply leave everything lying on the floor—but DON'T MISS SEÑOR NO!!!! This album is absolutely essential for all fans of BORED!, RADIO BIRDMAN, SONIC'S RENDEZVOUS BAND, HELLACOPTERS and, of course, MC5, STOOGES, and MOTÖRHEAD!!!!!!!! Note: If your knowledge of rock music is so extensive that you know about the blazing Basque rock scene of the late '80s and early '90s, Xabi was one of the founding members of LA PERRERA here in San Sebastián!It's no secret that SEÑOR NO is one of our favorite bands of all time.
