Rattus is one of Finland’s most legendary hardcore punk bands. Formed in 1978 and disbanded in 1988, Rattus returned in 2001 and is still tearing up stages to this day.
“Uskonto on vaara” was originally released on Poko Rekords in 1984. It’s a furious album with nine devastating tracks—a fierce, intense journey and a true genre classic. Svart Records reissued the album in 2012, and fourteen years later, it was time to bring it back to the streets with limited editions on black and colored vinyl.
“RATTUS: explosive, blistering fast, and hits with a real punch. With Annikki’s new raspy, rapid-fire vocals, RATTUS bursts onto the scene with overwhelming force and breakneck speed. Brilliant, no-holds-barred Finnish hardcore. Pure energy.”
-Pushead, Maximum Rocknroll #7, July/August 1983
