Quemando Ruedas - 1986-1988 - LP

The band formed in 1986 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ,they were Pesca-guitar (ex-cicatriz), Dieguillo-bass, Capi-drums ( ex-Navajazo en el Bazo) and Félix-vocals....They didn't come to save anything, they came to burn it all down.

The first rehearsals took place in a building on Correría Street that threatened to collapse. They went through countless venues until they ended up digging out their own space in a basement on that same street.

Their influences were clear: hardcore, punk and above all rock and roll. Capi and Diego leaned more towards faster punk while Pesca and Félix brought a more rock approach, although they didn't mind the speed.

They made a big debut.. in front of 5000 people at Hala Bedi (1987) alongside Polla Records, Kortatu and Vomito (3 of these tracks are on the record). The next day they played for 50 people in a school and 3 days later in Eibar alongside Korroskada..that's how they slowly loosened up. Later they played with Cockney Rejects at the Txibisto venue in Bergara ( some tracks are on this record too). In that same year they record at the Mendizabal Institute of Image and Sound ,with their friend Kako, who was a teacher there ,the demo you have in your hands in vinyl form. A demo that circulated on cassette from hand to hand...
