As its title suggests, the album plays with an apparent calm, but one charged with that sonic strangeness so characteristic of OPN, where the familiar and the alien merge into an almost hypnotic listening experience.

It is a masterful exploration of synthesis and texture, where Lopatin uses bursts of ambient sound and disorienting melodic fragments to create a soundscape that feels like a lucid dream.

Released on the Warp label, this album confirms Oneohtrix Point Never as one of the most innovative architects of contemporary electronic music, capable of finding beauty in chaos and dissonance
