Remastered 50th anniversary reissue of Harvest (1972), Neil Young’s fourth solo album and one of the great masterpieces of his career. An essential record featuring enduring classics such as “Heart Of Gold,” “Old Man” and “A Man Needs A Maid,” returning in a special edition packed with previously unreleased material to uncover all the secrets behind its creation.

This edition includes the original album in a carefully crafted remaster, three previously unreleased recordings from the original sessions—“Bad Fog of Loneliness,” “Journey Through The Past” and “Dance Dance Dance”—and a previously unreleased acoustic concert recorded for the BBC in the UK on February 23, 1971, available in both audio and video.

One of the major highlights of this edition is Harvest Time, a previously unreleased two-hour documentary filmed in 1971 by Neil Young and his team, capturing the album’s creation from beginning to end. The footage shows Young during the sessions at the legendary Harvest Barn in Northern California, as well as at studios in Nashville and London, offering an exceptional glimpse into a pivotal moment in his career.

The edition is presented as a 2LP set and includes a 7" single with the three previously unreleased tracks and two DVDs featuring the documentary Harvest Time and the BBC concert. The set is rounded out with a hardbound book featuring never-before-published photographs and extensive notes by photographer Joel Bernstein, as well as a fold-out poster. The vinyl editions also include a lithograph print.

An essential anniversary edition for Neil Young fans and any rock lover looking to rediscover Harvest and explore its story through previously unreleased music, footage and documents.
