This record, according to the court ruling in the lawsuit allegedly brought by a former roadie against the band, should have already appeared under a different name for the group. Perhaps as a provocative wink, the individual who appears on the cover with a nut worn like an oppressive turban is struck on the back cover by the hammers of Justice and the Law. Nevertheless, the band pays no heed and continues to sign as it has been doing since 1983.

More powerful musical arrangements, with the guitars taking much greater precedence than before. The drums are also more prominent. The wall of sound becomes a key feature, even overshadowing the lyrics. The opening track, “Monopoly,” is representative of this, with the driving rhythm provided by galloping guitars.

Originally released in 1994, it is striking that, almost ten years after their debut, La Polla Records were still capable of making records of such intensity.
