Our Black Sabbath men's T-shirt design history
Since the band adopted the name Black Sabbath, the logo representing the Black Sabbath brand has undergone several changes.
The band's first logo was created in 1969, but our Black Sabbath design features the original 1971 logo, made up of wavy letters, with “Black” above “Sabbath.” In a creative interplay, the waves create a bold and powerful design that reflects the band's raw, unique style.
The design is completed by “Henry,” Black Sabbath's mascot: a winged demon with a tail, horns, a beard, and a triumphant expression. Apparently, the demonic figure appeared on flyers used to promote the concert held in El Paso, Texas, in 1975.
