The Devil's Door finds And Also The Trees refining their singular language into a slow-burning, atmospheric album steeped in mood and suggestion. Filmic, poetic and quietly intense, it carries an undercurrent of dark psychedelia post-punk.Championed early on by Robert Smith, who invited them to tour with The Cure and took part in their first recordings, the group have since released sixteen studio albums, sustaining a body of work defined by atmosphere, discipline and creative autonomy.
