Label: Beat Generation
1995 was not the best year for metal in general, and for thrash metal in particular. Grunge dominated the scene, and only bands like Megadeth or Slayer were still able to put out good records. But the real magic was happening in the underground scene, and that is where VERBAL ABUSE stand out with this great album. They set aside their more fun, punk side to delve into darker, thrashier, and more devastating territory. It may not be the most acclaimed album by punks or by the metal scene, but that is precisely where the greatness of this record lies. It sits halfway between both scenes, features some excellent tracks, and has held up reasonably well over time. After more than 20 years, Beat Generation rescues it from obscurity, offering it with its original cover and inserts, and on vinyl for the first time. The original edition was released exclusively on compact disc. Limited edition of 500 copies.
