The Psychic Circle label is proud to present another 20 sparkling, pink icing-covered, pop-psych confections previously uncomped on CD. The first collection, Our Fairytales Can Come True, visited the melodic, pop side of British and European psych, and met with a really positive response, so what could the label do but offer up another trayful of sweet refreshment. Delve into the froth and you will find The Merseys operating under a pseudonym, an obscure Cat Stevens-composed weird-out, popsters Peter & Gordon showing that psychedelia had not passed them by, beat legend Sean Buckley with a new name, an unknown Oak version of a Deram gem, plus a host of similar pleasures. This is Fairy Cakes For Tea. Let it work its magic upon you. Compiled by legendary psych musician and Psychic Circle label-head, Nick Saloman (The Bevis Frond)
