The Adverts - Cast Of Thousands - LP

Sello: Callofthevoid

Released in 1979, Cast Of Thousands was the second and final studio album from English punks The Adverts. Following early success - their 1977 single 'Gary Gilmore's Eyes' put them in the UK Top Twenty, making them one of the first British punk groups to have bona-fide hit - many original fans castigated them at the time for switching to a more experimental sound, but time has been kind to Cast Of Thousands, a slate that significantly broadened their palette and featured the singles 'My Place' and 'Cast Of Thousands'.
