“Frisson Noir” is a bold and uncompromising statement. The album is, without question, the heaviest of Tarja’s career and a clear commitment to metal in its purest and most powerful form. Across 10 tracks, Tarja delivers intensity, emotion and strength, supported by stellar guest performances by Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth), Apocalyptica, Marko Hietala (ex-Nightwish) and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Mixed by GRAMMY-nominated producer Neal Avron (Linkin Park, Skillet, Twenty One Pilots), the album combines a modern, hard-hitting sound with the core elements that define Tarja as an artist: dramatic, emotional and unmistakably metal.
