Siege - Drop dead – complete discography - 2xLP

Black vinyl edition, limited to 400 copies.
It doesn’t take many words to introduce Siege: they are considered undisputed pioneers of the fastest hardcore, grindcore, and thrash, and have profoundly influenced generations of musicians who pushed sonic extremes to increasingly radical limits. The clearest example is Napalm Death, who cited them as one of their main inspirations from the Scum era onward and covered Walls during their legendary Peel sessions with the Mick-Shane-Bill-Lee lineup. Heresy also recorded their own version of Conform, and the list could go on indefinitely.

In the early 1980s, Siege burst onto Boston’s fierce hardcore scene, delivering the fastest and most furious sound heard up to that point.

This double-LP edition is Siege’s first official release in Europe and the most complete compilation of their discography to date.
It includes:

• The Drop Dead studio session (1984)
• Tracks featured on Cleanse the Bacteria (1984)
• Outtakes from the original 1984 studio session
• The “lost” 1991 session with Seth Putnam on vocals
• The complete, uncensored version of Grim Reaper

Everything has been remastered for vinyl from the best available audio sources.
Presented in a luxurious gatefold sleeve, with the logo stamped in silver on the front cover and a partial UV varnish finish, it also includes a booklet featuring rare and previously unpublished photos, lyrics, and original artwork.
