Sello: Anti
MJ Lenderman's songs are built to bend and stretch, adapting to the energy of the room and the players around him. In the studio, they carry a certain intimacy, but on stage they transformlooser, bigger, and unafraid to wander. And the Wind (Live and Loose!) captures this live alchemy, recorded with his touring band, The Wind, who turn the material into something communal and unpredictable. Where Lenderman often plays most of the instruments himself, here the songs become a many-headed thing, a document of music evolving in front of an audience.
