Special CD plus DVD edition of «Live From The Apocalypse», a live album by the Italian band from Milan, Lacuna Coil. Performing the album «Black Anima» (2020) at the Alcatraz club in their hometown and under the yoke of the pandemic, the band devised a way for their fans to see and hear them live. Without roars of anticipation or applause of admiration, nor the interaction with the audience that for more than two decades has been deeply involved with Lacuna Coil's music and concerts. Released in 2021 by Century Media Records.
LACUNA COIL’s new live album, Live from the Apocalypse, is the fruit of an unprecedented time. Unlike previous live efforts—Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul) (2008), Shallow Live: Acoustic at Criminal Records (2010), and The 119 Show – Live in London (2018)—the Italians, under the yoke of the pandemic, cleverly devised a way for their devoted fanbase to hear and see them on stage by organizing a special live stream event performing their latest album, Black Anima, in September 2020.
