Incubus gives the audience the opportunity to reconnect on a grand scale in Morning View XIII. The musicians decided to re-record the thirteen original tracks. They tackled the task with more than two decades of experience and managed to preserve the original spirit of the songs while also giving them new wings. From lesser-known songs like “Echo,” “Under My Umbrella,” and the closing track “Aqueous Transmission” to classic singles like “Nice To Know You,” “Wish You Were Here,” and “Are You In?,” Morning View sounds as vibrant and magical as ever, filtered through the studio recordings. Thanks to the power of the unique sound of the bass and Nicole’s vocals, and mixed in Nashville by Adam Hawkins, this work has entered a new dimension.
