Culture - Two Sevens Clash - LP

The prophetic album that paralyzed Jamaica and conquered British punk: Released in 1977 and produced by the legendary duo Joe Gibbs and Errol Thompson (The Mighty Two), the debut album by the vocal trio comprising Joseph Hill, Albert Walker, and Kenneth Dayes is one of the most influential and iconic works of reggae’s golden age. The LP captured the prophetic apprehension surrounding 7/7/1977 (according to Marcus Garvey’s Rastafarian revelations) and became a huge hit in both Kingston and London’s punk and underground scenes.
