Holly Golightly - Singles Round-up - 2xLP

Sello: Damaged Goods

Repress! Holly Golightly was a member of Thee Headcoatees. They were put together by Kent garage rock legend Billy Childish as his backing band before they decided to go it alone. Whilst Thee Headcoatees blended girl group-style pop with rudimentary garage rock, Holly Golightly's solo career has seen her basing her sound on blues, folk rock and a gentler strain of rock ' roll. Singles Round-Up compiles the A and B sides of her first twelve singles, mixing covers, perhaps most interestingly her version of Pavement's Box Elder, and self-penned tracks.
