Lucas is at his best as a songwriter, completely hitting the mark lyrically with his sincere and insightful way of telling the emotional stories of his generation, leaving no room for misunderstanding. With a direct, rock-inspired sound, the melodies are the kind that grab hold of you and don’t let go for a single second during the album’s 35-minute runtime. Recorded at Black Betty Studios in Madrid and featuring only Jose Nortes on bass and guitars, Dani Griffin—a regular on Fito & Fitipaldis records—on drums, and Lucas on lead guitar and vocals, this “Disco 3” brings to mind the best of Andrés Calamaro or the great Leiva in inspired songs such as “A veces,” “Acuarelas,” “Este Viernes,” “Tobogán,” alongside Rubén Pozo of Pereza, and “Fuegos,” the song chosen to open the album.

Turn up the volume and please enjoy the thrill of an album made the way great records used to be made: with time, talent, hard work, and determination.

Tracklist

Fuegos

Desorden

Acuarelas

Tobogán

Vaivén

Taquicardias

Este Viernes

Euforia

A veces

Las Nubes

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0805/0475/0407/files/lucas-colman-cd-firmado-disco-3-575963.jpg?v=1793442398
