In the summer of 1982, when Richmond's RED CROSS (see BIR-062) came to an abrupt end, guitarist Mikey Rodríguez didn't miss a beat and recruited Crispy Cranmer, a former member of GASSE 32, as vocalist to continue his vision of creating frenetic, fast hardcore punk... and they did just that one October night, sneaking into the Union Theological Seminary studios to release eight urgent and furious songs of just over 5 minutes, immortalized on a record courtesy of the local punk stalwarts Zero Degree Records that same year. What became known as the "FASCIST EP" (an unexpected title from the band, but one that stuck thanks to Jeff Bale's enthusiastic review in Maximum Rock and Roll #5) spread everywhere in the following months, not only cementing the band's place in the annals of international hardcore punk history, but also triggering a regional explosion of the genre; the fuse of which was lit thanks to Mikey's previous work in MOD SUBS and the aforementioned RED CROSS. This is just the beginning of our long-awaited re-releases of the legendary WHITE CROSS. Don't miss it!

Remastered by Chris Corry, each record comes in a sleeve with an incredibly accurate reproduction that includes an unreleased photo of the band from when the boys opened for THE EXPLOITED, an insert with the lost lyrics, accompanied by a collage of flyers and other images related to the release, and a duplicate of the original sticker so you don't have to send a SASE as the band originally requested and, hey, even the center labels are the original design that the United prudes refused to print due to the excessive profanity on them!
