Their sound evokes high-octane British R&B with a punk rock veneer, a legacy of their past as The Rockets. Their LP Needle Time (recently reissued by Munster) remains one of the most authentic documents of the visceral, raw sound of London punk rock in 1977. The songs included on this single are earlier studio versions of two of the best tracks from Needle Time and deliver a level of energy similar to what the band displayed on stage. The fast and furious 'Lorraine' was recorded at Milner Sound Studios on Fulham Road (in August 1977) with the band's original drummer, Wolf Marlander. 'Dogfight'—on the other side—comes from the band's first recording session, held a month earlier at Island Records Studios.

Label: Munster Records

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0805/0475/0407/files/01_c1731937-b42f-42d1-a199-400a1d115eb6.jpg?v=1793325950
warsaw-warsaw-lp-color
Warsaw - Warsaw - LP - Color

Tracklist:
A1 The Drawback
A2 Leaders Of Men
A3 They Walked In Line
A4 Failures
A5 Novelty
A6 No Love Lost
A7 Transmission
A8 Living In The Ice Age
B1 Interzone
B2 Warsaw
B3 Shadowplay
B4 As You Said
Bonus Tracks
B5 Inside The Line
B6 Gutz
B7 At A Later Date
B8 The Kill
B9 You’re No Good For Me

Vinyl Passion – VP 90152
Vinyl, LP, Compilation, Reissue, Unofficial Release
Europe
14 Jun 2024
Rock
New Wave, Punk, Post-Punk

A1 The Drawback
A2 Leaders Of Men
A3 They Walked In Line
A4 Failures
A5 Novelty
A6 No Love Lost
A7 Transmission
A8 Living In The Ice Age
B1 Interzone
B2 Warsaw
B3 Shadowplay
B4 As You Said
B5 Inside The Line
B6 Gutz
B7 At A Later Date
B8 The Kill
B9 You’re No Good For Me

Edición limitada en vinilo transparente de 180 gramos de éstas sesiones especiales de la aclamada banda británica de post-punk Joy Division, anteriormente conocido como Warsaw (Varsovia).
