A brilliant collection of covers of 60s female gems that THE PRIMITIVES made their own with jangle-pop spark, punk energy, and Tracy Tracy's unmistakable voice.A unique opportunity to rediscover an album that shines as brightly as the band's classics, and that joins to the reissue of "Spin-O-Rama", the recent release of "Let's Go Round Again o Second Wave Singles & Rarities 2011-2025" which compiles much of the band's hit collection from the second stage of their career, and the tribute record titled "40th Anniversary Single" also released in November 2025, which includes two songs: a new mix of "Thru The Flowers" with overdubs and added guitars, and the previously unreleased original version of "Sweet Sister Sorrow". The first is the era of Lazy Records and RCA, the era of "Crash", of the breakup in 1992. But 2011 saw the special release of a new single from the band formed by Tracy Tracy, Paul Court and Tig Williams on the prestigious indie label Fortuna Pop! That becomes the starting shot of the second period, which is marked by their signing with Elefant Records and the release of two albums, "Echoes And Rhymes" and "Spin-O-Rama". One of the group's defining qualities, in honor of their indie spirit, is the number of collaborations, participations, singles and lost songs that have been released in this second period. For those of you who are desperate to get their hands on some of them, we are releasing "Let's Go Round Again o Second Wave Singles & Rarities 2011-2025", a double vinyl album with twenty-eight songs including previously unreleased tracks, rarities and A and B sides of vinyl singles, the majority of which are out of print.TRACKLIST: 01 Rattle My Cage 02 Never Kill A Secret 03 Turn Off The Moon 04 Lose The Reason 05 Spin-O-Rama06 Purifying Tone (Reworked By Modular) 07 I'll Trust The Wind 08 Oh Honey Sweet 09 Stop Killing Me (Live Part Time Punks Radio Session) 10 Don't Know Where To Start 11 I Won't Care 12 Sweet Sister Sorrow 13 Need All The Help I Can Get 14 Breakaway 15 Can't Stop The Want 16 Always Coming Back 17 Up So High 18 You Trashed My Christmas 19 Lose The Reason (Reworked By Modular) 20 Squeak 'N' Squawk 21 Same Stuff 22 Been Hiding 23 Rattle My Cage (Paul Vocal Version) 24 Till I'm Alive 25 Don't Know Where To Start (Acoustic Fuzzed Version) 26 Panic (Live Part Time Punks Radio Session) 27 Everybody Needs Somebody To Hate 28 Sweet Sister Sorrow (Symphonic Dream Pop Version)

Sello: Elefant

10th ANNIVERSARY REISSUE, CEAR RED COLOUR VINYLTRACKLIST 01 Spin-O-Rama 02 Hidden In The Shadows 03 Wednesday World 04 Follow The Sun Down 05 Purifying Tone 06 Lose The Reason 07 Petals 08 Working Isn't Working 09 Velvet Valley 10 Dandelion Seed 11 Let's Go 'Round Again12 Always Coming Back 13 Up So High 14 Spin-O-Rama (Acoustic Version)

Sello: Elefant

"Reworked By Series" Collection. The main idea is that groups on the Elefant label appropriate, play with, and remix each others' songs. It's an explosive mix that can create (and has, in fact, already created) really exciting cocktails. We've already got our hands on the first two releases from this collection, Guille Milkyway and LA CASA AZUL's remake of ATTIC LIGHTS, and THE PRIMITIVES songs that MODULAR "perpetrated". The Argentinian group MODULAR has once again created a cosmic, spacey world based on Paul Court's guitars and Tracy Tracy's vocals, making "Purifying Tone" and "Lose The Reason" theirs. And Guille does his thing, making a few new Eurodisco hits from "Future Bound" and "War Years", two songs from the Scottish band fronted by Kevin Sherry.TRACKLIST: 01 Purifying Tone (Reworked By Modular) 02 Lose The Reason (Reworked By Modular) *Extra Digital Format Tracks: 03 Purifying Tone (Reworked By Modular - Instrumental Version) 04 Lose The Reason (Reworked By Modular - Instrumental Version)

Sello: Elefant

We were already spreading the word with that Christmas gift THE PRIMITIVES gave us - PJ Court's band has a new album! This is great news! The reunion that came about as a result of the death of their bassist, Steve Dullaghan, and that put them back on stage after 17 years away, has culminated in a surprising album that is full of energy and that shows that the authors of "Crash" are still in enviably good shape. What's more, "Echoes and Rhymes" really grabs the attention. All of the songs selected for the album are versions of songs by obscure, female-fronted groups from the sixties. Curiously, the album is a long way from suffering from disparateness; these Brits knew how to make each and every one of the songs on this marvellous album reflect and mesh with their electric personality. They took over these songs with surprising urgency and energy while still managing to salvage the marvellous essence of melodies that were born in the decade that most-cared for such things. The result is a tremendously addictive album, seasoned with a sixties-halo that functions as a vindication and takes us directly to research every one of the (in some cases) little-known names that make up the details of its track-list. Who doesn't wonder what incredible songs can be included in the repertoire of someone who wrote songs like "Turn off the Moon", "Sunshine In My Rainy Mind" and "I'm Not Sayin'"? From garage to psychedelia, with touches of soul and sunshine pop, multiple styles come together to form a special type of compilation, revisited with all the love and affection and energy of THE PRIMITIVES. Following their love for independence, but with their unchanging capacity to reach everyone, as they already proved with their first recordings more than twenty years ago.
