Five years after what was probably their most personal album to date, "Your Life Gets Crushed", the Coburg hardcore punks return with new songs. Songs that, once again, are more political, more furious and more aggressive.

This is mainly due to the times we live in and the fact that singer Michael "Henne" Henneberger has had to deal with a huge personal burden. As a result, Rawside has once again set its sights on political opponents and the problems of our time. The term "cannibal" immediately evokes the famous story of Robinson Crusoe or Rio Reiser's song of the same name from 1986. However, these were not the ideas behind the title of the album or the song that gives it its name. “We are more concerned about emotional cannibalism. The psychological pressure that is exerted. How people behave when they try to gain an advantage for themselves. Or people who think they are the center of the universe. When everything comes down to elbowing your way through. That is the definition of cannibalism we are talking about,” Henne explains.

Rawside's 13 new songs launch a barrage at all the idiots out there. Whether self-proclaimed conspiracy theorists (“Der Blitz”), unbridled capitalists and opportunists (“Dreh Dich mal um”), devout Catholics (“Sinner”) or uninhibited social media users (“Medioten”), Rawside never tires of pointing out the problems and confronting corrupt executives, right-wing politicians or furious and brainless citizens. But there are also almost apocalyptic songs like "Gammaburst" or "When The Ship Goes Down", which focus on the ruin of the planet and humanity. "The therapy session is over. While the new album once again deals with very personal themes, it also releases more anger and processes the impressions that assail me. The whole division, but also what is happening within the scene," says Henne, who does not shy away from confronting his own bubble. Frankness and honesty are fundamental to him, especially because of his own history. That is why he does not hesitate to put his feelings into such personal songs as "Brought to My Grave" or "On the Run", songs in which he processes personal goodbyes or his compassion for refugees.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0805/0475/0407/files/LP-RAWSIDE-MENSCHENFRESSER-FET-FLECK-RECORDS-COMPRAR-VINILO.jpg?v=1793327058
rawside-your-life-gets-crushed-lp-color
Rawside - Your Life Gets Crushed - LP - Color

Tracklist
A1 Intro
A2 Mr. President
A3 Ich Will Mehr
A4 Your Life Gets Crushed
A5 Das Feuer
A6 World Falls Down
A7 Totgesagte Leben Länger
B1 Dance Machine
B2 Xodus
B3 (Nie) Wieder Frei
B4 Xenophobia
B5 Die Letzte Schlacht
B6 Wahlboykott
