Cala Vento are selected to participate in a learning workshop for new bands, where industry professionals share their wisdom and experience to help improve their prospects. One of them, Eric Fuentes, proposes producing their debut album after being impressed by their skills. The album is a done deal and gets into the hands of BCore, who, together with HangTheDjRecords, will take care of ensuring that those prospects are as positive as possible.

Meanwhile, Aleix and Joan, the duo of two friends from Figueres and Torroella who share an admiration for bands that use only drums and guitar as the minimum inseparable unit for a rock band, and who confess to having listened to the BCore catalog a few times, establish themselves as one of the most intense live bands moving through the underground today, already at a national level. Their songs, as precise as few, with brilliant lyrics and a thunderous dramatic pulse, hold the listener's attention from the first moment and never let go, with quality details in every corner, overflowing sensitivity and a youthful energy that is indeed what makes rock such a special and necessary genre. Furthermore, the excellent work with the low frequencies makes it so that, unlike other bands, a bass is not missed in the compositions. As close to Japandroids or No Age for their lineup as to Los Planetas' more epic side or the more melodic Nueva Vulcano, they have hit upon a magical formula that makes them equally interesting on record for their ingenious lyrics, their richness of details and their expressive capacity, as live for their strength and spontaneity, as they have already demonstrated in recent editions of Primavera Club or will have the opportunity to demonstrate at the next SXSW in Austin, TX in the USA.

We have seen things grow, but only a few take our breath away.
