Harto de todo is full of confessions from the first Barcelona punk and hardcore bands (Último Resorte, Attak, Shit S.A., Kangrena, Sentido Común, Frenopaticss, L’Odi Social, GRB, Subterranean Kids, HHH, Skatalà…), but also from those involved in fanzines (NDF), free radio (Radio P.I.C.A), the first self-managed shops or venues (Informe or Kafe Volter), or simply the street heroes who took the bold step of declaring themselves punks in the grey Spain of 1979. Through the honest and passionate testimony of all these explorers, we discover their discoveries: their first contact with punk rock; how homegrown anger merged with the tenets of an English youth movement, adapting its aesthetics and ideology to the everyday sensibilities of our protagonists; the birth of Do It Yourself (or self-management); the connection with similar snipers from around the world and the creation of an international information network; the role of drugs (heroin and speed); the first building occupations; the growing political awareness of punks and their musical, aesthetic, and ideological evolution toward hardcore (and the role played by the visit of the Americans MDC in this mutation), the emergence of skinheads and their subsequent split into two opposing political branches, and a long list of other things. And, above all else, the music: fierce, fast, intense, raging, made by them and for them.

For all these reasons, Harto de todo is a vital document that provides the first serious and accurate record of the emergence and history of Catalan punk and hardcore. Made with patent love and overflowing with detail, packed with spectacular archival visual material, and written with breathtaking sincerity, this is a work of importance comparable to foreign pinnacles of the genre such as Por favor mátame (an oral history of punk), Banned in DC, From the Velvets to the Voidoids, or Hardcore California, and it cannot be missing from the bibliography of any scholar or fan of the genre.

#PreOrder
Release: 13/12/2024
Limited Edition of 500 copies

BCore Disc is celebrating its 35th Anniversary and its 400th release, and to mark the occasion, they have decided to publish a book.
The book brings together a selection of concert posters organized or designed by BCore Disc, including posters from the first visits to Barcelona by bands such as GREEN DAY, AT THE DRIVE IN, KARATE, HOT WATER MUSIC, SNUFF, FUGAZI, MDC, K454, JUNE OF 44, LEATHERFACE, and many more.
